Brevard United Dachshund and Dog Yapper (BUDDY) Rescue is a non-profit organization located within Brevard County dedicated to rescuing small dogs, primarily Dachshunds, from local county shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, and local veterinarians, we are able to rescue hundreds of dogs. We provide each dog with loving temporary care, and provide appropriate veterinary care as needed. We then find each dog a well-matched, carefully screened forever home. We also serve as a resource to our community and all dog owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
My name is Peanut. I was surrendered by my owner because she could no longer care for me. I am a Corgi mix and 110% PUPPY! I am very inquisitive, love toys, like to take toys outside where I leave them but I bring grass and small twigs in that will fit thru the doggie door. I love people and other dogs. My foster mom has 3 other dogs and we all get along great. I like to play chase in and out the doggie door and in the backyard. I am doggie door trained, crate trained, house trained, spayed, up to date on all my shots and heartworm negative. If you would like to be my forever family, please complete an application on this website with my name on it or email BrevardBuddyRescue@gmail.com
